This slightly sweet, slightly tangy sauce is not only delightful on burgers, but it also can be a dipping sauce for chicken nuggets or as a condiment on just about any meat based sandwich or wrap.

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1 tsp chili powder (I prefer ancho)

  • 1/2 tsp allulose (optional)

  • 2 tsp red wine vinegar (10mL) *see note

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise (112g)

  • 1/4 cup no sugar added ketchup (64g)

  • 2 TB yellow mustard (30g)

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients with a whisk or narrow spatula.
  • Refrigerate for an hour to let the flavors blend.
  • Serve on burgers, chicken nuggets, etc.
  • Because of the acidity in this sauce, it should be fridge stable for several weeks.

Notes

  • Macronutrients are based on a serving size of 2 tablespoons (30g).
  • I prefer red wine vinegar, but you can substitute distilled white vinegar for a “sharper” flavor.

  1. Thank you Steve, I am going to try the suggestion you made on YT and use pickle juice
