NOTE: Please keep in mind that I love Perfect Keto and will continue to do business with them. I get several products from them and will continue to do so. Just not this one.

My husband uses their collagen powder (cinnamon flavor) in his morning coffee. He loves the stuff. I finally got my MCT oil powder in the same flavor and see why. LOL

Anyway, after the first few jars of it, he noticed that it seemed like he was having to order sooner than he would expect. The number of servings on the jar is 21. He likes to keep one jar "in reserve" so when he opens the jar in reserve, I reorder. So I checked the invoices. Hmmm....seems we're ordering less than every 3 weeks. So we started dating the jars when they're open. After the first dated jar, I contacted Perfect Keto. 14 servings from that first one. We did this on 4 jars, none of them provided 21 servings, they were 4-7 servings short. I checked the scoops as he used them, not packed, lightly filled, not overfilled. We even started weighing each serving before it went into the coffee. We were spot on most of the time, and when it was off, it was only 1-2 grams. We weighed an empty jar for the weight of the packaging and weighed each jar before opening. Every jar was short. (edit: when I say every jar was short, I mean the servings. The weight was always correct.) Perfect Keto asked for time to investigate and, of course, I agreed. I was confident there was a problem, either their scoop was too big or they were miscalculating the servings. These jars are $36.99 I really wanted to get my 21 servings. I can accept 1-3 servings less, that seems reasonable to me. But a 5-7 servings? No way. That's not acceptable.

This morning I got the final word and a free jar of Collagen powder. There response:

"Please know that as per our team, sometimes the amount of servings can vary due to the density of the product and that's why there's a difference."

Maybe I'm being persnickety, but it's my money and I'll spend it how I see fit. I won't be ordering their collagen in powder form anymore. I'll order the capsules and an extra jar MCT oil for my husband. I've never had issues with the amount of servings from any of their other products and believe me when I say I've been monitoring since this all started.

I wanted to share this as I think it's important for people be fully informed and pay attention to the servings their getting from products, Perfect Keto or otherwise.

Caveat Emptor!

Thanks for reading,

Nancy

Good info.  I'll need to pay attention the next time I open one (perhaps do as you did and date it).
